Jewellery has been synonymous with mankind since centuries. It is a great way to express the personal style of an individual. The beauty of this world is that every culture has something different and unique to offer. This is true for jewellery as well. Almost every country offers unique styles when it comes to jewellery.

Let us look at a few popular styles of jewellery:

1. Indian Jewellery – Indian jewellery is extremely intricate and beautiful. Gold and silver are the metals mainly used in the making of jewellery here. Apart from that, several precious and semi-precious gemstones are also used. Almost all styles of Indian jewellery are ornate and have been existing since time immemorial.

2. Thai Jewellery – Thai artisans are extremely fond of using leather and silver for creating their jewellery. They often use animal figures to adorn their jewellery. They often create woven jewellery pieces.

3. Turkish Jewellery – Turkish jewellery is especially popular for protective amulets, such as evil eye jewellery. This has been propagated in different cultures of the world but is believed to have originated in Turkey.

Another very famous jewellery here is the hamsa hand jewellery. This is another type of protective amulet.

4. Mexican Jewellery – Mexican artisans are especially skilled with silver jewellery. They intricately combine silver jewellery with elegant colourful materials to overall enhance the look of the jewellery items.
